ATV HID Lighting

With our experience in off-road lighting and power systems, we've developed high-power HID lighting options for ATV's that will light up the night. Fast turn on times allow our systems to come with both low and high beam HID elements. When high beam is used, both high and low stay on for a tremendous amount of light. We at Electronicamotos have stepped up to make these HID lights available for the ATV market in a wide range of fitments.

ElectroSport Truck with Off-Road HID LightsHID lights use less power than a traditional bulb to put out a huge amount of light. Electronicamotos HID lights are designed to provide the best color balance, quality, and lighting output possible. HID lights work by using a typical battery's 12 volt output to power a small box called a ballast, which sends a high voltage to the light. This causes a spark inside the bulb to light up a mixture of gases. These lamps put out a much brighter light than a halogen bulb and provide a more even fill for better visibility. With no filament that can burn out due to shock or vibration, these lights last far longer than a standard bulb. Our lighting systems come with full wiring harnesses designed to plug right into the OEM plugs.

HID lighting systems on the market are available in a number of different lamp colors. Because of the way that the human eye works, the optimum color for the light from a bulb is slightly green. To the naked eye, however, the bulb looks very white. Systems offering very blue lighting actually are not as bright, because blue light does not focus as well on the eye's retina as red and green. As lighting is shifted on the color spectrum toward yellow and red, the eye's sensitivity also drops causing things to look dim. A typical halogen lamp's output is an example of this. The optimum color temperature makes a huge difference for visibility and depth perception. Our HID lighting systems use 4300K lamps. Systems with higher values are bluer while a typical lamp is more yellow, yielding a lower value.

Traditional HID lamps take a few seconds to turn on, which has typically limited their use to low beam only. Electronicamotos has changed this with faster turn-on times. Electronicamotos HID2 lamps offer low and high beams elements with almost instant switching. Offered in beam angle switching or dual element versions, these systems are night and day compared to traditional HID and halogen systems.

Electronicamotos lamps are made to the highest standards. Lower quality lamps often change color quite drastically over their lifespan. These lamps will drift to a very blue tint causing gradually worsening lighting conditions. This problem is really bad on lamps that start out in the 6000K range which is already really blue. Electronicamotos lamps are color balanced at 4300K and use high quality materials to keep the color where it should be. Electronicamotos OEM replacement HID upgrade kits allow for both high and low beam replacement. Designed to closely match the OEM lighting patterns, these bulbs prevent blinding oncoming traffic in low beam. Eight inch accessory flood and spot lights are offered for overhead lightbar mounting or pushbar / bumper mounting.

Being located in southern California, we work closely with local custom shops and ATV builders to bring the best possible lighting product to the market. With performance ballasts, quality lamps, and plug and play wiring, Electronicamotos ATV HID lighting systems stand alone in the market.
